Question3

Anyone have problems with their dogs backs after amputation?  I notice Bailey sometimes seems like he is dragging his leg and his back seems to turn inward sideways so when he walks he looks like a loose letter “C”.  I am worried about his spine.  Is this a true concern or am I worried about nothing.  Any insight would be great.

‘you are kidding, right? seventeen years young AND an amputee??!,,?!! CONGRATULATIONS BAILEY AND U!!! Remarkable! What a handsome young man he is! First time I’ve seen your site. Thanks for sharing tis wonderful journey.

The only input I can offer is I have seen that question raised on this site and I think someone even sent a video showing exactly what you were describing. It seems one of the conclusions was it was just another way of compensating—but I can’t be sure. I’m sure someone will respond with more knowledge anda better memory than I. The very, very best to you and the incredible Mr. Bailey!,,

Thanks for the inspiration, Sally and Happy Hannah
